**Directors must be a member of TMEA and ATSSB
before students audition.
Membership in ATSSB is $35 until October 1.
After October 1, membership increases to $60. If you are
not a member of ATSSB, update
your membership
soon.
**Middle School directors may not use the high
school director's membership when entering students for
auditions. They must show proof that they are
members of both TMEA and ATSSB!
**Students
whose director is not a member of ATSSB at the time of the
audition will not be allowed to participate in
auditions.
**PERCUSSION AUDITIONS HAVE CHANGED!! ATSSB
is now using a unified percussion audition. Please check
out the audition guidelines
for the new format for percussion

**TIMPANI ETUDES-

The etudes must
be taken from the new edition of the
Saul Goodman Modern Method for Tympani.
Note that the publisher is
Alfred, not Belwin (although some editions may have a
Warner-Brothers publisher). Some may
also have a copyright of 2000, but the newest editions list
only the 1988 copyright. Just make sure it is
published by either Alfred or
