2024-25 Region Band Audition Information
- High School use Year D for the 2024-2025 School Year
- Middle School / Junior High use Year “Blue” for the 2024-2025 School Year
- MS Tutorial Videos Year “Blue” added to MS Auditions page (8/12/24)
| HS SAXOPHONE YEAR D ERRATA ADDED 8/14/24 The ATSSB Executive Committee has voted to add errata to the saxophone Year D audition music: Year D, Etude #26: Measure 13, beat three, second 16th note should be a B flat, not a C. (However, please make a note to tell saxophone judges this year to accept any interpretation of measure 13 of Etude #26 in case someone does not get the errata now approved and in the Year D Update.) |

Oct. 3 – Area Jazz Recording @ Silsbee HS (5:00pm)
Oct. 19 – Region Marching Contest @ Port Neches Groves HS
Nov. 9 – MS/JH Region Band Auditions @ Hardin-Jefferson HS (9:00 am)
Nov. 20 – Region Jazz Clinic @ Silsbee HS (all day)
Nov. 21 – Region Jazz Clinic (afternoon) & Concert (evening) @ Vidor HS
Dec. 7 – HS Region Band Auditions @ Hardin-Jefferson HS (9:00am)
Jan. 11 – Area Auditions
Jan. 24 – Region Clinic MS & HS @ Silsbee HS (5pm-8pm)
Jan. 25 – Region Band Clinic & Concerts @ Silsbee HS (MS & HS)(8:00am – 4:30pm Rehearsals – Concerts @ 6pm)
Feb. 8 – HS Solo & Ensemble Contest @ Lumberton HS
Feb. 12-15 – TMEA Convention
March 4-6 – MS/Early Concert & Sight Reading Evaluation @ Silsbee HS
April 2-4 – HS/Late UIL Concert & Sight Reading Evaluation @ Nederland HS
April 11-12 – MS Band S/E Contest @ Lumberton HS
May 5 – Spring Region Meetings – 5:30 pm @ Lamar University, Music Building
