Entry Procedures

Region 10 Home

Go to www.tmea.org and click on “divisions” at the top of the home page then go to “band” then to “audition entry process” then “login as a director” and follow instructions. Please be complete with your information. All directors need to be included with all of their info.

After you complete your online entries, click on the following link: https://www.atssb.org/files/execsec/EntryCover.pdf, complete and print out the coversheet. Please send to my attention the coversheet with copies of your membership cards for ATSSB and TMEA attached along with payment for the entries and a print out of entries postmarked by the posted deadline to PO Box 1290 – Jasper, TX 75951. Checks are to be made payable to “ATSSB Region 10”. I only need this coversheet from those that have not already sent it with the ATSSB Jazz Band Auditions. If you have already sent this to me for the ATSSB Region Jazz Auditions, I will not need it again. I only need the coversheet for the first contest that you enter including your MS director’s cover sheet and for those of you who did not have any jazz entries. Please remember that you may not enter MS students unless the MS director is a member and the same for HS.

Track Declaration Form

Complete this form for each student entering auditions only if auditioning outside your assigned Track or for the TMEA All-State Jazz Band. Students in class 1A, 2A and 3A are restricted to the ATSSB 3A Track and students in class 4A are restricted to the ATSSB 4A Track unless submitting this form with the first all-region band audition entry. Once completed, these forms should be forwarded to the ATSSB Region 10 Coordinator.

This is only for students who are entered outside outside of their assigned Track. Any ATSSB student may choose to compete in any track, but it is assumed that ATSSB students are taking the ATSSB 3A or 4A track (depending on their school class) unless this form is submitted choosing a class outside their track prior to the first all-region band audition. Once a track selection is made, a track may not be changed.

Please be sure to go to the ATSSB website to go over all the rules and procedures as well as errata.
